On Sunday Sept. 26, 2004 we will conduct Amateur Radio Christian Fellowship Day.  The event is open to all amateurs worldwide who would like to share what their church is doing in missions, and conduct live qso's with those that serve on the mission field to thank them and to give them words of encouragement.  Contact your missions group and church and demonstrate Amateur Radio on this special day and showcase the hobby.  Here in Ft. Wayne, In. we will be operating from St. Michaels Lutheran Church during the annual Hog Roast. Childrens games and other local groups have have been invited to stop in and participate in this event.  The event is being held to introduce Amateur Radio to the public, and to spread goodwill to each other while letting those that serve in missions hear from local communities.  Spread the word and join us for fun, and a time of QSO'S.

    12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. est or 1600 utc until 1900 utc.
    HF: 14.300MHZ  -- 14.330MHZ
    IRLP: 9205 and 8380

This event is another outreach of Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day to boost awareness of the hobby, and to provide a public service to our communities.  Join us!

I hope it goes well. Be expecting QRM though. A few bad apples out there won't appreciate your special event operation!
