AM or SSB, are there "windows?"

I forget where it comes from. Probably because that info was not confirmed.

Nice to hear that Heil has now educated himself, and has been heard on 3725Kc, AM, weak signal with an Eico 720.

….just so. you know, I have been working in the 3700 for years. Sorry you have misssed me there working some of my Harvey Wells friends on 3715 on weekends. SOrry to have missed you.

 

Tried to use AM on winter field day, both on 40m and 20m
No joy. Git a clear frequency to use but with the side band splatter no contacts. I did have one tell me my ssb was off and to switch. Good thing I didn't hang on to my heathkit dx 60b for field day use as an experiment. I did get a lot if QRP'ers. Thanks W8SCI
