After more than a year on various Two Meter repeaters in my local area , I came to the conclusion that some additional Q signals are needed to facilitate local repeater use. Here are are few that I found would be handy to have:

    QWK Going to work,
QBQ Know a good BBQ place?
    QCF Going for coffee
    QGA Stopping for gas
    QBR I need a beer
    QHO Headed for home
    QTF Traffic is bad
    QHD Going to Home Depot
    QXL Picking up the XYL
    QKD Picking up kids
    QLT I’m late!
QTO On the way to breakfast
    QDT Done That
    QBT Been there

    QDW That Doesn’t Work

    QWW That Won’t Work

QIX The XYL is in the car. Don’t mention anything I just bought

Ya know, this could be fun....

Why not just make them up on the fly? The fun part would be hearing the response of the person you are talking to when you tell them what they mean.

Op 1: "Yeah, I think I will play around with some QWD tonight."

    Op 2: "QWD? What's QWD?"

    Op 1: "Operating While Drunk."

I was always told by my elmers that if I used Q signs on the VHF/UHF repeaters, I would be identified as a lid by my peers.

    Yeah, the olde ones.

These are new, improved and especially crafted for use on the repeaters. Your peers will understand.
