6m allocation to Senegal

ADRASEC Senegal is proud to announce that following its application to the Regulatory Authority for Telecommunications and Posts (ARTP), the band 50-51 MHz has just been officially allocated at WRC-12 to the amateur service on a primary basis in Senegal. ADRASEC Senegal takes this opportunity to thank ARTP for their unconditional support.

This allocation will only be effective when the new ITU Radio Regulations come into force and therefore all contacts made on 6m before that date have to be considered as unauthorized.
