if you are not into contesting !.(contest great for new ones in log however its not for everyone) Then 60m may be for you Great Folk GOOD OPs great fun !! ..most low band antennas 40/80m can be tuned for 60m band with a Tuner ! 100 watts only as this only power you can use on 60m will get you a long way !! south america /UK /east coast and west USA and CANADA and much more IF your a DX FAN Channel 4 and 5 are best mostly left for DX 1 and 2 /3 are for CW /USB check your local conditions and laws for use of 60m !! see you their GOOD DX sam ve3zsz
No Contest on 60 m means, any kind of major Point collection and other activities. Keep those channels clean.
Just a reminder: if you're looking to add to your ARRL LoTW DXCC count or W.A.S. awards, that contacts made on the 60m band DO NOT COUNT. Of course, many other awards programs DO allow 60m contacts but none of the ARRL awards do at this time Dave W7UUU
