The Orange Amateur Radio Club and the Jefferson County Amateur Radio Club will host the annual 2016 Orange Hamfest on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Orange County Convention & Expo Center 11475 FM 1442 Orange, Texas 77632 Hamfest Directions: Take the 869 Exit off of IH-10 going East or West and turn South on FM 1442 and the Orange Co. Convention and Expo Center is half mile on the right. (Coordinates:30 07.28N & 093 52.92W or 30.1244,-93.8922) Hamfest to have Amateur radio and various electronics components and equipment, both new and used, will be available for sale, trade or swap. Admission is $8.00 Grand prize drawings and Door prizes Grand prize and door prize tickets may be bought for $1 each for the hourly prize drawings. Tables available for rent during Hamfest Persons with Ham radios and electronic equipment to sell may obtain a table for $15/ea. with a reservation required. Approx.-100- indoor tables available. Tailgating Available Tailgating is free with limited space.
