ANATEL (Brazilian National Agency of Telecommunications) authorized foreign radio amateurs during the 2016 Olympics Games, irrespective of reciprocity treaties, operating stations in Brazil in the period from August 1 to September 30, without the need for application submission to ANATEL and without incidence taxes.
