2 Meter FM Simplex

The 2 Meter FM Simplex Group would like
to invite you to participate in a upcoming
event called 'Light Up Two Meters' day .
The day for the event will be Wednesday
March 16th, 2005 at 7 PM your local time.
The event will use the national calling frequency
146.520 to monitor .  Please be courteous though
and if necessary QSY to another frequency to
continue any long in length contacts or if other
people are trying to use it to make calls.
This event is a way to get more activity on the
fm simplex portion of the 2 meter band.
Please pass the word along to other hams who
might be interested. Feel free to contact me if
you have any questions or comments about this
event.
