Hello out there maybe someone can help me. I like my new callsign but really want my old one back. How do I go about getting my old callsign back. Please HELP!!!!! Thanks
I would think you could request your old call back as a vanity call as it hasn't been reissued. It says on AE7Q that you can do this. Edit: It's marked yellow so. . . Yellow, for licenses that ceased to be active less than two years ago (note that the FCC does not mark a license as expired until two years have elapsed). These may only be reaassigned to a previous holder (e.g., renewed) or certain other persons if any previous holder is deceased (e.g., relatives).
