    Turn the can upside down trace around it. Cut a little inside the line. You have plenty of play with the side carpet.

    I just use some doubled up cardboard.

    An EMP will leave a lot of people left. A nuke on top of you will not. There are some that have radios and such stored in case. There is who he will talk to.

    Just get a tube radio. During Desert Storm the Army brought out the old Collins KWM-2 radios because the dry desert air was causing ESD issues with the high tech radios. And somebody on Youtube needs a shave, a haircut, and likely a bath...

    You should be careful as rayon in the carpet can build up static electric charge and an EMP would certainly do that. Instead use bubble wrap. there is no transfer of charge and this cost is nil.
