    Funeral service for 1st SGT James Harold Romine (Ret.), 85, will be Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Rev. Emmett Roper and the Rev. James Owen officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville City Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 - 2 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. Mr. Romine died Thursday, August 25, 2016, at RMC of Jacksonville. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Romine, of Jacksonville; one son, Harry (Dennise) Romine, of Oxford; two grandsons, Tyler D. (Rebekah) Romine, of Anniston and Jason K. (Tabitha) Romine, of Oxford; three great-grandchildren, Addison, Carter and Hudson Romine; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Tyler D. Romine, Jason K. Romine, Jerry Quinn, Charlie Shumate, Roscoe Douthit and Randy Pate. Mr. Romine served his country in the U.S. Navy, during the Korean War, and also in the Alabama Army National Guard, where he retired from the 151st Unit.
