EFHW or End Fed Half Wave Antenna is quite popular among radio amateurs for multi-band portable operatios. While a center fed half wave dipole antenna resonates at its odd multiples, EFHW works well at both odd and even multiples of the basic frequency, which makes it suitable for most of the amateur bands. Just putting together what I have been learning on the web, QRZ and elsewhere.
