David A. Lawler, WK4P SK David Adam Lawler West Jefferson, North Carolina July 16, 1964 - October 16, 2021 Mr. David Adam Lawler, better known as “Adam” age 57, of West Jefferson passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Lawler was born in Clintwood, Virginia on July 25, 1964 to the late David Wayne Lawler and Ama Lee Turner York. Adam always worked in the automotive industry. He worked as a finance manager until he lost his sight, then he worked at West Jefferson Chevrolet in customer service. He was always was upbeat and had a smile on his face. Eager to face the day. He had been working out and lifting weights. He had lost over 100 pounds. He was very proud of his accomplishments. He was preceded in by two sisters, Lisa Lawler and Tammy Lawler. Mr. Lawler is survived by: a son, Wayne Lawler (Tammy Brooks), of Baker, FL; two daughters, Cyndi Threatt (Travis), of Simpsonville, SC and Rachel Schaffner (Tony), of Van Wert, Ohio; his mother, Ama Lee York, of Marion, VA; five grandchildren also survive. https://www.tributearchive.com/obituaries/22688769/david-adam-lawler
