Any news of any happenings in the Southern California area?

OH, if you mean the ARRL SOuTHwestern Division Convention, it is a GO for Sept 15 weekend at the 4 points Sheraton in Kearney Mesa. (just south of HRO)

We will also have a great SWAPMEET Saturday morning, and there will be alot of Technical Talks, INCLUDING one on the Crest Radio Museum

I go to TRW, Chino Hills and Santee fairly regularly.

Chino Hills seems to have the most Ham stuff, but is about even with TRW.

Don't know if the Cable airport swapmeet is still going or not.

TRW Starts promptly at 7AM and not a moment before.

Chino Hills starts at dawn, or shortly before.

 

Sure!! The wx is sunny and 68. The same tomorrow and....well, until June, probably, when it might get up to 72. Traffic sux, and it's expensive out here, but.....
