WCARS (Western NC) forum launched

The Western Carolina Amateur Radio Society forum is finally operational, and we welcome anyone to join in the discussion as well as announce any of your own news and events. We would appreciate anyone willing to pass the link on and help getting new forum members to discuss a wide range of topics, as well as encourage new members to join our club. As it's a fledgling forum, we hope anyone will join and chime in on any topic, anecdote, or whatever you wish, to help get the ball rolling and have our users find some interesting discussions. Besides club info, it's geared to a wide variety of special interest areas, and has a subforum for each of these that we've come up with so far. Right now, registration is easy, no email confirmation, just register, pick a password and you're in. Hope you will join us, and thanks.

I am a fairly new ham and plan on being at the next meeting in Jan. My wife is studying now for her Tech. license so she will probably show up, too. Glad to see the forum is up. I will have a look.
