    Walter Bigger 96 of Sarasota, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2012.
    Mr. Bigger was the son of Belva Lawson of Owensboro, KY.
    He graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois receiving his degree as an electrical engineer. He lived in Iowa with his wife of 57 years, Sue Taylor Bigger for 10 years, moving to Dallas, TX in 1956 where he worked for Collins Radio until he opened his own business. He was the leader of the Windmill Theory in the US. He also worked for the Navy Department for 4 years.
    Walter and his wife with their daughter, Jan moved to Sarasota, FL in 1976. He was very active in Power Squadron, Sarasota Yacht Club, golfing, the operator of Ham Radio and sail boat racing.
    He leaves behind his only child, Jan F. Bigger of Sarasota and many, nieces, nephews and cousins. Walter was the oldest Bigger in the US still alive at the time of his death.
    National Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of the arrangements. There will be no local services. Burial will be in Maceo, KY later in the spring.
