@VU2VWN was a good friend of mine and a great homebrewer. I started as an Amateur Radio operator in 1985 with a solid state QRP which I had homebrewed according to the design from VU2VWN. Initially I was on CW and later added a modulator so that I could come on AM as well. VFO was using BFW 10 and final RF power amplifier used BD 139, running about 5 W. Vasanth left us 12 years back and in his fond memory, VU2VWN Vasant Net is conducted daily morning from 7.30 to 8.30 am on 7123.45 kHz, LSB.
