    I still have my C64 but the disk drive is long gone.

    Still have my VIC20 also.

    I was tempted to try them. My brother wants to play games with them. They have an older TV that would work, but we need to purchase an adapter. I live overseas, so might give them a try another year if we don't sell them. Haven't been used in probably 30 years, but look great.

    there's big C=64 club, lots and lots of support and spare parts available, you should be able to make it work ... and fill the world with dorky 8 bit music again!

    I guess I can dig out my old C-64 along with it's tape drive. Maybe interesting project to use it again after many years. Thanks for the info.
    By the way, my first computer was a "ZX81" by Timex Sinclair and had a woping 1.5 K memory. TeaHe. Vic-20 was also owned and was my first color computer. Best Wishes to all.

    Somewhere in one of my electronic "junk" boxes, I have the 16k memory upgrade module for the Timex Sinclair Z81.
