The 2015 Amateur Radio Newsline Young Ham of the Year award was presented to Anna at the Huntsville Hamfest on her 15th birthday. Don't let Anna's age fool you! She has accomplished more in 15 years than most of us accomplish in our adult lives, including: Licensed in amateur radio at 8 years old Mastered CW and received a vanity call from the FCC by 4th grade American Diabetes Association Youth Ambassador Active in DX contesting and works it in CW. Traveled to Costa Rica to participate in the TI5 Youth Adventure Team Co-founded a youth ham radio club in her high school.
