My Condolences. Thomas L. Myers, KC9LIZ SK SK Sept. 16, 2015 Thomas Myers Sr., 59, of Lebanon, Ill., born Oct. 31, 1955, in St. Louis, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Myers worked for Montery Coal Company as a coal miner. He was also a long time firefighter with the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his father, Merhl Myers; and a niece, Stephanie Myers. Surviving are his four children, Nichole Myers of New Baden, Ill., Tracy (James) Gibson of Seabrook, Texas, Kimberly Myers (boyfriend Chris Edler) of Alton, Ill., and Thomas Myers of Seabrook, Texas; six grandchildren, Katherine Bolbach, Kourtney Bolbach, Clayton Bolbach, Claudia Loomis, Chloe Adams and Miranda Myers; a great-grandchild, Presley Bowman; his mother and stepfather, Marilyn, nee Hemann, and Duane Rutherford of Lebanon, Ill.; three siblings, Gary (Peggy) Myers of Lebanon, Bradley (Jennifer) Myers of DuQuoin, Ill., and Elaine (Seth) Speiser of Freeburg; and his nieces and nephews, Kelley Kocher, Andrew Myers, David Myers, Emily Speiser, Abbigail Speiser and Mitchell Speiser. Memorial contributions may be given to the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation: Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon, Ill. Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at the church. Burial of his cremated remains will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon, Ill.
