    Special Event Station GX3GWB  is
    in commemoration of George Washingtons Birthday .The GX3GWB station will be active from the Northampton Radio Club premises in England,Also
    our Sister Station GB2GWB will be active from close to Sulgrave Manor England the ancestral home of the Washington Family
    they will be active from approx 11.00 am GMT on Sunday 22nd February 2004

    Just incase others were wondering as well,

    I asked Ian about the bands/freqs they will be working on and they replied that they will be on 15m about 21.350 +/- depending on band conditions. and if 15m is icky they well QSY to a band that is open to the USA.

    Thanks for the assistance KB3JLZ

    I am aware that the portable GB2GWB station is now on site and  being setting up (11.00 GMT) and we at GX3GWB will also be active about 11.30 GMT
    we are expecting to be active for as long as conditions allow
