SMS Texting & Email via JS8Call

Let's use the JS8Call API backend to send short text and email messages from anywhere in the world. Every JS8Call operator is also an APRS igate we can leverage to do APRS operations, including email and texting. Checkout "js8email.sh" and "js8text.sh" scripts in the description to make sending email/sms easy and fun while running JS8Call.

Fire up JS8Call on your raspberry pi, then run one of the following scripts:
js8sms.sh @5558675309 sms message here
js8email.sh user@gmail.com email message here

 

now that smsgte is shut down, is there a way to do this with sms rather than smsgte
