Sandy Hook Lighthouse, Fort Handcock, NJ

The Ocean Monmouth Amateur Radio Club will be on the air from the Sandy Hook Lighthouse, Fort Handcock, NJ. This is the Oldest Continuously operated Lighthouse in the USA. Signing our club call N2MO look for us on HF( CW, SSB, PSK ) and on VHF( two meter FM, Simplex ) and Six Meter SSB. last year we made many 2M Simplex contacts up and down the coast and as far inland as Harrisburg PA. International Lighthouse Weekend wrap up.

Thanks to all the stations that were able to work us over the weekend. All though the HF bands were in poor shape, our 6m and 2m VHF stations were able to log many QSO's. We have more then two hundred contacts logged between HF( CW, SSB ) and VHF( SSB, FM ). And we have been told by the powers that be( National park Staff ) that we have been listed on the 2010 calendar for the next years event.
