The end of the year approaches, and Down Under that means the SPARC Rosebud RadioFest is not too far away. November heralds colder weather in North America. Happily, it means we here in the Southern climes are gearing up for Summer and all the great Amateur Radio activities that come with it. The Southern Peninsula Amateur Radio Club (SPARC) presents it's annual Rosebud RadioFest, scheduled for Sunday, November 12th, 2017, at the huge Eastbourne Primary School Auditorium, Rooms and Grounds in Allambi Avenue, Rosebud. The show runs from 09:30 am until 2:00 pm and will feature forums, discussions, displays, manufacturers, clubs, special activities, competitions (with loads of great prizes!!), excellent catering, a cafe/meet and greet area, outdoor exhibits, private traders, new gear, old gear and items guaranteed to provide a great deal of fun as you try hiding them from your partner when you get home!! We also have a club website, (Southern Peninsula Amateur Radio Club), where we display our regular club activities. Did you know??......We've played host to many visiting Hams from the US. (And other countries as well.) So if you happen to find yourself down this way (as you do.....It's not as uncommon as you might think), venture down onto the Mornington Peninsula, 1 hour South-East of Melbourne (Victoria.....NOT Florida!) in beautiful seaside Rosebud.
