review for my 2 in 1 station

Got a dual 2 in 1 soldiering station a few days ago and have been trying it out. does really goon well worth the money

A word of caution:

I bought a very similar unit on EBay (see pic below). After using the hot air gun, I accidentally touched the metal snout of the gun to the wire holder (which is attached to the case with screws). I was rewarded with a spark & a hot air gun that doesn't heat any more. I think I blew the heater control SCR or whatever it uses, but I haven't had time to troubleshoot it yet. It didn't occur to me that the tip of the gun might be electrically hot as well as thermally hot!

I suggest you check for potential and maybe insulate that holder.
