I did some SSB there last year and I did make a few contacts, but yes...the RFI is horrible there. I wish I had had the chance to work some FT8. Great video as always, Hosh!
I was excited to work you at KA6LMS via FT8 on 40m at 0028Z, after multiple attempts via phone over the past couple of years. Watching this video just topped off the fun. If the video resolution was higher, I bet I could see my QSO crawl across your monitor in the background. Thanks for doing this! PS-My QSL card and SASE is in the mail 73 Doug NP2GG Connecticut
Any chance of "The Modern Rogue" aka Brian Brushwood going for his license? Just curious. It'd be real cool if he did. 73s de KC8RLU
Hi Josh, Thank you for sharing your video of operating WA6LMS. Great job! Just curious, did you get to meet Tim or any of the cast? 73, George WA3LVR
Hi all! I was able to work KA6LMS on 40-meter (7.255 MHZ) SSB back in December, 2019. Amanda K1DDN was the operator. She had a great signal near Portland, Oregon. There's a photo of her and her husband (KØJSC) on the Last Man Standing set on her qrz.com webpage. The KA6LMS QSL card just arrived so I thought it would be fun to post this. -- 73, Jim W7EED
I'm working on it. I'm hoping to get out there again in 2020 and do some more videos with them. They are great guys! The whole team there is top notch. Sadly no. It is a working set and they were busy getting ready for the live taping.
I was quite excited to get through the other day and I enjoy the digital contacts as much as the Phone contacts. Thanks for all you do for the Hobby and the Community! I got through from Iowa without much trouble Icom IC-7100 barefoot on a 36' inverted G5RV.
Thank you for the update, Josh. I have now subscribed to your YouTube channel, because of how awesome it is! 73s, Joe KC8RLU
