I chuckled a bit when I pulled up the article and saw a shed absolutely demolished. But perhaps most people don't consider "sheds" to be buildings.

That will be one hefty bill they're gonna have to pay to re-power up those 200,000 homes that lost power due to the collapse. Hate to be in his shoes for sure. Wish i could have worked him. Where can one find pix of the 40 ton structure?

And I thought I had a bad day when my 80 meter dipole came down in a storm.

 

Read it was a software burp or freeze. Failsafe should of kept the antennas good for the winds pointed correctly for survival but something went wrong so the software and hardware arrangement is suspect. The town lost power but their backup power kept things going.

I can't even imagine something like that. Does anyone know what went first? Guying, base, tower?
