1800 UTC August 6 to 0600 UTC August 7, 2016 Check out the rules here: http://ncjweb.com/naqp/ Perfect way to spend a day in the shack! 73, Dean, NW2K
Ok. Just played radio in the NAQP after 15 years away from this one , and realized how fun this mini contest is. Everyone at 100w or less makes for great antenna comparisons and propagation insights. Having a 10 hour operation period is manageable for those guys who have a life outside of radio too. Very manageable for any operator - Single op low power and a real exchange that means something. ARRL: pay attention to this contest and removed 46 of the 47 pages of rules for field day -- simplifying it with NAQP type rules would be a positive change. Looking forward to the winter QP ..
Didn't get on till after 2300Z and didn't stay up too late but still made about 85 contacts. Fun time
