I'll answer my own question. I received my tickets in the mail today, so one can assume that those that ordered their tickets will receive them shortly.

Hallo Frank, QRZ erhält von Zeit zu Zeit einige Anfragen von SWL-Enthusiasten. Einige möchten eine „Rufzeichen“-Liste haben, und wir müssen ihnen routinemäßig mitteilen, dass unsere Website SWL nicht unterstützt. Obwohl ich das SWL-Hobby verstehe, würde der gesunde Menschenverstand darauf hinweisen, dass es äußerst unwahrscheinlich ist, dass sie das Ziel einer Suchanfrage sind. Mit anderen Worten, SWLs sind stumm und daher gibt es nichts nachzuschlagen. Niemand weiß, dass sie zuhören. Dies könnte sich natürlich ändern, nachdem die SWL dem Funkamateur eine QSL-Karte aus den von dieser Seite gesammelten Informationen geschickt hat. Dann könnte der Funkamateur, nachdem er besagte QSL erhalten hat, die SWL in unserer Datenbank nachschlagen wollen. Wonach würde der Schinken dann in unserer Datenbank suchen? Mit Ihrer QSL-Karte hat er bereits das meiste, was er in QRZ finden konnte. Und dann ist da noch das Problem der Rufzeichen. Es gibt kein SWL-Rufzeichen, nur eine Kennung, die von ???? verwendet wird. Es gibt keinen international anerkannten Standard für SWL-Kennungen und außerdem ist im Allgemeinen keine Lizenz erforderlich, um Kurzwellenradio zu hören. Ja, mir ist bekannt, dass an manchen Orten eine solche Lizenz erforderlich ist und dass Kennungen von der gebührenerhebenden Stelle vergeben werden. Solche Lizenzen und Gebühren sind für die Leitungsgremien von Vorteil, haben jedoch keinerlei Vorteile für den Amateurfunk. Some want to have a "call sign" listing and we routinely have to tell them that our site doesn't accomodate SWL. While I do understand the SWL hobby, common sense would indicate that they are extremely unlikely to be the target of a search query. In other words, SWLs are silent and so there is nothing to look up. Nobody knows that they are listening. Of course, this could change after the SWL sent the ham a QSL card from information gathered from this site. Then, the ham might, upon having received said QSL, want to look up the SWL in our database. What then, would the ham be looking for in our database? Holding your QSL card, he already has most of what he could find in QRZ. And then there is the issue of Call Signs. There is no such thing as an SWL call sign, only an identifier that is used by ????. There is no internationally accepted standard for SWL identifiers and moreover, there is generally no license required to listen to a shortwave radio. Yes, I am aware that such license is necessary in some places, and that identifiers are issued by the agency that collects the fees. Such licensing and fees are beneficial to the governing bodies but have no benefits to amateur radio whatsoever. Welcome to QRZ as a non-ham member! 73 -fred
