The moon should be staffed by Americans

the moon's back side would be the other part of the world's front side.. it rotates on its own axis 360 degrees one revolution around the earth...so it appears it only has one side...so how is this gonna work?

The same side of the moon ALWAYS faces earth.

That moment when your neighbor's solar panels and USB chargers make so much RF noise you decide to leave the planet...

This is an intriguing venture. I can see the reason for wanting to get away from the noise in our atmosphere, and that of the sun. I would surely be interested in manning that station. I just hope they don't start buying up Kyber crystals.

They will use propane-powered bulldozers so as to have minimal impact on the "atmosphere". They are already worrying about Lunar Warming from the LEM exhaust emissions.

They changed the name from Lunar Excursion Module to Lunar Module in the late 70's to keep the environmentalists off balance and because the media couldn't spell excursion.

The OTARD law will exempt the satellite dish from the Little Green Men's HOA restrictive covenants. But, if NASA builds a tower over 12 feet high they've had it.

Of course NASA can always blame the ARRL for not taking action...

"Um, no, the moon has only one side that faces the earth. The far side is always away from us."

    Good Deal.
Always glad someone out there is thinking of new dimensions.
I appreciate space projects and find them interesting..
    Please post when completed.
    Thanks Brad

The "dark side" of the moon is not always dark. The moon shows always the same side to earth because of its bounded rotation.
A telesope on the "dark side" will never point to earth. For radio communication to the "dark side" a additional satellite rotating the moon is needed.
For a 24/7 access to such a telescope maybe 3 satellites and several stations on all continents are needed.
I doubt that such a moon telescope can be operated without personal. This means a moon base is also needed.
Better forget this telescope. Nobody can pay this.
