This event is fast becoming the most popular international event on the ham radio calendar. Also involved is the International Association of Lighthouse Keepers who organize an open day on the Sunday of the event. Please see their web site at:

With just under 2 weeks to go there is still time to participate in this popular yearly event. 330 entries have been received to date with more expected over the next 12 days.
The dates again are 15-16 August, see http://illw.net for details.

Once again the Oceam Monmouth Amateur Radio Club N2MO will be operating from the Sandy Hooklight House. This year we will be useing a mix of HF and VHF stations. Our plan is to operate two HF( CW and SSB ), one VHF( 2M ) FM, and one Six Meter SSB station. For those who wish to work us on Two Meter FM, please look for us on the standard Simplex channels. we have had great success working stations up and down the coast and as far inland as Harrisberg PA. A great looking certificate is available for all radio contacts. We hope to hear you on the air. 73's de: Jeff N2LXM O.M.A.R.C Event Coordinator.
