    Lighthouse On The Air?
Well . . . sort of anyway. At least a Light Station. :D
On August 1st, the Tamke Allan Observatory of the Roane State Community College in Harriman, TN will be operating under their club call sign of N4TAO. While specializing primarily in being a receive-only station for mostly the visible light portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, N4TAO will be operating in 2-way mode on the substantially longer 20 meter wave lengths - specifically around 14.250 MHz. Listen for them from 3PM to 9PM EDT.
Observatory Director, Dr. Fields, N4HBO, has organized this event in conjunction with a bi-monthly free Public Stargaze. For more information about the observatory, visit:
    www.roanestate.edu/obs
SARA & ERAC member are encouraged to make their affiliation known when contacting N4TAO
