In over 18 months of Ham Radio I heard my first CQ on the UK 2M Simplex Calling Channel this afternoon! It was worth the wait. I spent a short while in a QSO with GB2FRS and a very pleasant local Scout in my town of Horsham. Just a reminder to keep a watch out for the JOTA operators, they really appreciate any contact.
