With Hurricane Matthew off the Florida coast, I wanted to do a show on ham radio prep like I did for Sandy back in HRN Episode 30 (so long ago). But none of the ARES/ARRL people I contacted (SECs, Directors, etc. in SC, GA and FL) were able to respond on that very short notice - all were busy with their own preparations. So I reached out (on even shorter notice) to three hams who had shown interesting in co-hosting a regular Emcomm show, based on my musings earlier this year. One of them – David Goldenberg W0DHG, an EC from the Los Angeles area – could make it. And I picked up ham media darling Marty Sullaway KC1CWF (Chicken With Fries) who's game for any ham show. He had the (mis)fortune of texting me just before we started recording, and I roped him in. The result is hardly an in-depth analysis of current preparations. We don't know what they are.
