Give me a friggen break.....are we amteur radio enthusiasts...ready to provide communications or are we app users....just because we have nuclear weapons..does not mean we use them.....come on people....why did you bother getting a license...

 

Caution: Many phones like these use 2G and 3G and some only use 2G (GSM). Carriers are sunsetting GSM in the USA in 2017 and 3G in 2018. The carriers use different 3G too: Verizon uses WCDMA while AT&T uses UMTS.

Know that the cell phone part of any of these "miracle workers" will work in the US before you waste your money.

 

i just saw this on their website and its 5.1 android

 

It is also a 3G phone which is currently 1 generation behind and soon to be 2 generations.

Try spelling it outfone.com. I personally hate the idea of mixing android and ht.

 

Did anyone find where it could tx/rx on vhf? The only thing I could see is 70cm.
