Free Tubes to Give Away to School or Club

    I have 6 used operational Eimac 8930 250W, 500MHz linear amps (equivalent to 4CX250R, http://www.cpii.com/eimac/) to give away to a qualified school or club.

    I came upon these as standard time-in-service replacements from a government facility that were going to go in the trash. They were operational, but the facility has a regular maintenance schedule for replacement.

    Please send me details on your school or club and we can figure out shipping arrangements.

    I have just received a grant from the ARRL for equipment that should be arriving soon at Malcom Bridge Middle School. The club is still in the formation process, but a lot of interest has been shown. Thanks for the offer.
