    FREDERICK EDWARD KRICK JR. (1952-2016)

Frederick Edward Krick Jr. was called to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 15, 2016. Fred fell into deep eternal peace with his family and attending hospital staff of Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas by his side. Fred was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 6, 1952, to parents, Frederick Edward Krick Sr. and Lillian Mary Oya-Krick.

Fred met the love of his life, Carolyn Rose Riggs-Krick, over the airwaves on CB Radio, near Salem, Wis., on April 21, 1976. They were married on June 27, 1976, at a quiet Las Vegas, Nevada wedding. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this past June. They resided in Salem/Kenosha County, Wis. for many years before moving west to Las Vegas, Nev., Parker, and Bullhead City, Ariz., eventually settling in Golden Valley, Ariz.,

With Fred's avid interests in electronics, he and his family became involved in Ham (Amateur) Radio. Fred N7FK was licensed since 1977 and for many years, Fred owned and operated Video Advisor Electronics, a VCR/Electronic repair business when he lived in Las Vegas, and Bullhead City, Ariz. He enjoyed attending "hamfests" (radio swapmeets) to collect old tube-type and transistor radio gear and loved talking to his family and friends over the airwaves. Fred was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and took his family to visit the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. He was a member of Living Word Lutheran Church in Kingman, Ariz., former member of Mohave Valley Lodge #68 and was President of the Mohave Shrine Club in 2000.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. and Lillian Krick; aunt, Blanche Oya; half-brother, Thomas Johnson; half-sister, Anna Christine Johnson (Walter) Kosner; nephews, Reginald and Randy Johnson; and in-laws, Charles and Lillian (Busch) Riggs and Charlie's 2nd Wife, Harriet (Wolfe-Scherrer) Riggs.

Fred is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Golden Valley, Ariz.; their two sons, Paul Krick (Kyran Hammond-Krick, granddaughter Jayd Hammond) of Fort Mohave, Ariz. and Matthew Krick, of Kingman, Ariz.; sisters-in-law, Elaine (Clayton Wagner) Burke, Mary (Clarence) Daniels, Gloria (Ross) Marshall, all of Burlington, Wis. and Phillis (Thomas) Johnson of Mesa, Ariz/Chicago; brothers-in-law, Donald (Sandy) Riggs of Bristol, Wis., Cy (Annette) and Donald (Joan Bursack) Scherrer, of Wis.; brother, Jerry (Tanya) Dries of Pahrump, Nev., and nephew, Dale(Lora) Johnson of Homewood, Ill.; nieces, nephews, family, and friends; along with his many animals, Blitz, Faith, Link, Hope, Scooter, Orange Whip, Casey, and Queenie.

Our family would like to thank those loving relatives and friends who shared in his life. Special thanks to Dr. Singh, from ICU, at Spring Valley Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nev., his staff, Fred's ER nurses, Shawn and Alexandria, Dr. Anita Eisenhart, Dr. Roya Mahana, EMRES, the ER Staff at Kingman Regional Medical Center, Dr. Mahmood Khan and his medical staff at Mountain View Medical Center in Kingman, Ariz. for all they did to provide the best care and support to our family. Per the family's request there will be a private family memorial service at a later date. His simple wish was that everyone knows he is in God's hands and at peace.

Memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to one or both of the following charities in Fred Krick's name: For the LUV of Paws 8115 Oatman Road, Golden Valley, AZ. 86413 (928) 897-7304 and Mohave High School, Special Education Department, 2251 Highway 95, Bullhead City, AZ. 86442, (928) 758-3916 Ext.1209
