Yes, sadly my dad passed away in his sleep 3/22/24 with my mom by his side. He is finally at peace. Love and miss him so much! He got me interested in Ham radio at the age of 10. Unfortunately, I haven't been as active as I wanted to be for the last many years. Being here in his shack and using his equipment has brought that itch back! I will be definitely setting up a station as soon as I get some of his equipment back home.
Al was a friend and mentor to me for many ,many years. I will greatly miss him. He was in my logs over 400 times in the past 33 years. Rest in peace my dear friend.
