Contest Crew members, and veteran contesters, Randy Thompson K5ZD and Daniel Craig N6MJ competed in the ARRL DX SSB this past weekend. Randy operated from his East Coast station in Massachusetts and Dan on the West Coast from ND7K in Arizona. As is always the case when these guys go "all in," they both posted BIG scores with Randy (potentially) setting a new W/VE record in the SOUAB HP category. Tune in to learn what they found on the bands and how they adjusted as the weekend progressed. They are joined in this conversation with Chris KL9A who contributes to a show filled with their usual valuable contest tips and perspective. The Contest Crew publishes a new show every Tuesday evening. Send your questions and/or topics to my email address on QRZ and they'll be considered for a future show. The West Coast of the United States is a term that generally refers to the states of California, Oregon, and Washington. Depending on the context, it can also include Alaska and/or the state of Hawaii. Not Arizona.

From above "... Randy operated from his East Coast station in Massachusetts and Dan on the West Coast from ND7K in Arizona..."

Point taken! I was likely being a bit provocative in the summary since KL9A jokingly corrected N6MJ about this very subject during the interview. All in good fun. Thanks for the correction, AI6OZ.
