Worked today EA7LM-José. Former owner of this callsign has been reaported "silent key" (info hamcall.net) So this seems to be used now by a pirate Ham.

Hasn't that call sign maybe re assigned to a new ham radio?

During last times our Telecom to those who ask for two letters suffix by proving activity on the bands or whatever other firm reason, they are currently given those generally SK call signs.

However I am not sure in this case as bloody pirates are everywhere using any available call sing!!!:D

I will try to find out some info about.

In the UK you used to be able to apply for an old callsign of a deceased ham providing his family have no objections.

Not sure if you still can though!
