Curtsy is the key hereā¦for those who are joining in and those who are not. I always notice a lot of friction between the two groups. NOT GOOD.
Another Winter Field Day opportunity; http://www.azscqrpions.org/FYBO2016_Rules.htm Mark your calendars for the AZ scQRPions QRP Freeze Your Buns Off Field Day on Feb. 5 & 6, 2016. That is KK6MC/5, in the photo, operating QRP from the Galisteo Dam Site, NW of Placitas, NM. 72 (QRP 73) de W5WHN AR
I'm not sure I understand the mentioning of all the parallel events? Y'all have a choice... pick one if you like it. Don't pick it if you don't! Simple as that.
Get on the VHF/UHF bands too. If you only have FM get on the popular simplex frequencies and call CQ. Seems like 160 cw will yield an unusually good number of contacts as well.
