    RENSSELAER - David Raymond Kinerson was born on January 14, 1949 in Newport, N.H.
    At age 75, on April 9, 2024 with a train ticket in his left front shirt pocket, David Kinerson boarded the Express Steam train headed toward Heaven. David was the son of Laura Adelle (Hall) and Charles Folsom Kinerson. David's mother referred to David, during the first six months, as "Chief Rain In The Pants."
    David is survived by his devoted, loving wife, June E. Kinerson; and his devoted, loving son, Andrew David Kinerson. David is also survived by his sisters, Kitty Jo Thresher (Carl), and Barbara Jean Lohman. David was predeceased by his younger brother, Jeff Kinerson (Lise) and his brother-in-law, Gary Deyss. Other survivors are his sister-in-law, Marilyn Gaudette, and his brother-in-law, Larry Deyss (Christine). Nephews, Gregory Deyss, (Genevieve), Paul Deyss (Melanie), J. Mark Deyss (Natsumi), Timothy Gaudette, Billy Greer, (Kira), Lance Laranjo, Coree Kinerson (Julie), Cameron Kinerson, Connor Kinerson, Larry Brown (Claire Palmer); nieces, Julie Gaudette, Miranda Lohnes, Tammy Griffin (Cristopher), Jessica Deyss, Kristina Ouellette (Dennis); great-nephews, Toma Deyss, Kaito Deyss, Pearson Deyss, Marcus Deyss, Brandon Laranjo, Lucas Laranjo, Austin Gaudette, Aiden Gaudette, and Alexander Deyss; great-nieces, Alexis Gaudette, Emma Greer, Kelsey Greer, Lesa Laranjo, Tesla Ann Laranjo, Laura Thresher (Beau), and Ashley Deyss.
    David was a member of the ARRL (American Radio Relay League), WB2VXS (later changed to K2DRK), RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service), Sand Lake Historical Society, Salem United Methodist Church, Honorable Discharge as Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force (1976), A Vietnam Era Vet, AARA (Albany Amateur Radio Association), a model railroad train enthusiast, fond of VW cars and vans (especially camper vans), enjoyed camping in a tent, looked forward to participating in Field Day exercises for Ham Radio, helped with the construction of Kinerson's Cove, (the home David help build for his wife and son), David did all the inside wiring of his house which impressed the inspector since David had neatly arranged all the wiring in place. Willing to drive his wife, June, to any place she wanted to go, drove June to several out-of-state knitting and crochet conventions throughout the years. David enjoyed driving his car, and June enjoyed sitting next to David as she helped navigate the chosen route.
    Family and friends are welcome to attend the wake/viewing on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 4392 US 150, West Sand Lake, (closed casket with an American flag draped over the casket).
    The funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., in the Sanctuary of the Salem United Methodist Church on Shaver Road (off Rt. 150 in West Sand Lake, N.Y.) with Rev. Kristi Van Patten, officiating. Interment will take place in the Elmwood Cemetery (near the church) following the funeral service.
    After the burial, everyone is invited to return to the church for light refreshments in the Fellowship Hall (downstairs in the back of the church.) We recommend using the brycefuneralhome.com website to share or send condolences, light a candle, view videos or for service directions.
