    Daniel Mignogna
    August 23, 1951 - August 5, 2019
    Daniel Mignogna passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2019 at Jordan Valley West Medical Center. He was born on August 23, 1951 in Gerald-Mercy, Pennsylvania to Evelyn E. Harding Mignogna and Joseph R. Mignogna Jr.

    He married Diane Beatty and to this union they were blessed with a son, Daniel Joshua Mignogna. Diane passed away at the age of 38 leaving Daniel a widower and single father.

    Daniel married Janet Clare Huntley on August 25, 2001 at the home of his sister and her husband, Kenneth and Judy Thompson, in Renhartsville, Pennsylvania.

    Daniel served our country in the United States Navy. He loved electronics and immersed himself in learning all he possibly could about electronics. He had a passion with HAM Radio Operations and his Call was AA3YT. He was a member of the National Weather Service and a registered Skywarn Spotter. He had served as the District Emergency Coordinator with the Amateur Radio Emergency Service. Daniel loved to teach electronics and had been a substitute teacher on many occasions at a Technical College. Daniel had worked for over 20 years in the Delaware Valley Area of Pennsylvania as a Master Electrician. He and Janet moved from Pennsylvania to Salt Lake City, Utah 10 years ago when he accepted a position with a company as their Electrical Designer, designing the electrical systems for In-Floor Heating. He and Janet were members of Calvary Chapel in Salt Lake City.

    He is survived by his wife, Janet Mignogna; Son, Daniel Joshua (Sandy) Mignogna; Siblings, Evelyn "Dolly" Herschbach; Joseph (Anna) Mignogna and Judy (Kenneth Jr.) Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

    A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Calvary Chapel located at 460 Century Drive Salt Lake City, UT 84123 (801-264-9999). Casual Dress Please.
