    Same-sex marriage in Taiwan was legalized on May 24, 2019, making Taiwan the first nation in Asia to recognize same-sex marriage.

    A special event station BV0ME (ME for Marriage Equality) was established to celebrate this historical moment. We will be operating on FT8 frequencies during the weekdays and SSB on HF bands during weekends, from June 14 0400 UTC to December 13 0359 UTC, 2019.
