My first HF setup was a Kenwood TS-430 fed into my rain gutter on my single level house in Woodland Park Colorado. One end of the house was only 6 feet off the ground, 65-foot run across the back of the house, and 12 feet off the ground at the other end. I used that antenna for two years before we moved and it worked beautifully. It is amazing what ignorance and a very low budget will help you accomplish. Hi Hi
