    Does anybody know if the Belton Ham Expo here in Bell County, TX is CHL Friendly?

    I was there last year and I carried. and they dont have the LEGAL 30.06 sign anywhere so it doesnt matter.

    I thought everything in Texas was CHL friendly???

    Nope, not everything is Texas is CHL friendly. The law has a provision where businesses may prohibit CHL on their premises.

    CHL = Concealed Handgun License. Firearms are prohibited in schools, voting places, and locations that are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages, to name a few. A CHL 'friendly' location would be one where a person licensed to carry may lawfully do so.
