Annual AM Night on 160M GCARA 1936 Net Thursday December 28th

Tonight, the Greater Cincinnati Amateur Radio Association 1936 Net will host the annual AM Night. Activities will get underway beginning at 6PM ET with a pre net session. All stations are welcome. Pre net will continue until 9PM ET with several pre net control stations including K8CJY, WD8NKJ, K8RRH and W8GNM. At 9PM, NM4A will take over as the net control for the formal net with all stations being called from the pre net log and any new stations. Each station is invited to give a run down on their AM station.

If stations are unable to check in, those listening are invited to e-mail net manager K8CJY at K8CJY@arrl.net with a listening report. Periodically the listening stations will acknowledged.

This long standing net tradition attracts stations running rigs from the "Golden Age of Ham Radio", converted broadcast rigs, converted military rigs, modern analog radios and software defined radios. Typically ther are about 60 stations checking in over the duration of the net.
