    Sad News from Oceanside, CA and the Palomar Amateur Radio Club (San Diego Section).

    Rod Dinkins, AC6V has become a silent key.

    Rod was a well-known author of Amateur Radio Books, and creator of www.ac6v.com

    He is survived by his XYL, Karla.

    OH, NO... :(

    Now, I'll have to admit - disclosure rules and all that - that I never knew the man, but that sure is one heck of a web site he put up. Is anybody going to take over for him and keep it going?

    You will be missed Rod.

    I had a few personal email exchanges with him and we were just getting to know each other before his passing. I just found this out last night on the main page or QRZ and I didn't believe such a fine fellow had died.


    Rod, I hope to see you again, GREAT BOOKS!
