2019 Museum Ships On The Air (MSOTA) - THIS WEEKEND

HAVE FUN WITH THIS SPECIAL EVENT

 

We're planning to activate the SS Red Oak Victory for both days! Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pn PDT. Find us on 20m and 40m SSB, and likely 40m CW Sunday morning. I may try higher bands but not expecting much. Slight chance of CW and digimodes on 30m.

I'm determined that we will have a good time, regardless of solar conditions. Inviting many hams and other friends to stop by and operate. If we get a quorum I'll order a pizza or two.

How did everyone do with Museum Ship Weekend? Conditions seemed pretty poor but did manage to get 27 official "ship stations".

Missed a few that had my partial call...also worked the National Hurricane Center (loud) and W5T which is not officially a "ship" station.

Had fun and looking forward to next year!
