Why is site data different then XML view?

I was contacted by someone asking about their own grid square and a difference I show vs what QRZ.com shows.

I get back from XML the following snippet for callsign KD4E:

<lon xmlns="http://xml.qrz.com">-81.727532</lon>
<grid xmlns="http://xml.qrz.com">EL88rj</grid>
<county xmlns="http://xml.qrz.com">Bulloch</county>
<ccode xmlns="http://xml.qrz.com">271</ccode>

When you look at the record on the site for KD4E, it shows the grid as EM92df.

What's up with the difference?
